LexArtLeague

The Lexington Art League (LAL) is central Kentucky’s oldest and largest visual art organization. LAL presents original, creative and accessible programs, with a reputation for thought-provoking content, that illuminate the role of visual art in contemporary life.  LAL exhibitions cover all mediums and genres in visual art and provide educational opportunities for the public to engage with the work of local, regional and national artists whose work embodies the highest standards in visual art. LAL also provides important community engagement programs that demonstrate how visual art can be a tool for positive communication and change.  This year, LAL partners for community engagement programs include; Lexington Habitat for Humanity, LFUCG Division of Parks and Recreation, Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, VSA Arts Kentucky, central Kentucky Public Schools, Kentucky Domestic Violence Association and numerous others.  For more information please visit www.lexingtonartleague.org.
